A one-acre lot in a newly opened area of a neighborhood we're interested in.
Standing at the back of the lot ... there's my car way over there.  lol!

Baby Back Ribs
(Slow Cooker)

1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1 Tablespoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Trim excess fat from ribs. Combine dry ingredients and rub over the surface of the ribs. Place ribs in slow cooker or crock pot standing on their edge with the meaty side out. Cook for about 8 hours. Remove ribs from slow cooker and brush with barbecue sauce.

*I cook this recipe for about five hours on high setting in my KitchenAid slow cook warming drawer.

Missing the playoff game on CBS.  :(

From the CableOne facebook page:

For the past several weeks we’ve been in negotiations with Tribune Media for the right to retransmit their channels and we have made every effort to reach a fair deal. Tribune Media, however, is demanding a 324% rate increase and they have refused our proposal to pay a rate that is more than fair. Tribune also refused our request for an extension so that we could keep these channels up and running for our customers while negotiations continued.
Unfortunately, Tribune Media has removed their channels from our line-up. We’re disappointed they took this action, but we will continue to work with Tribune Media in hopes of reaching an agreement that is fair for everyone.
